A series of attacks from a rouge agent in the early 1990s lead to the death of Agent Lion and most of the agents he'd trained. Predator was one of only two agents trained by Lion to survive.

Bullet is a straight-laced, 'by the book' kind of guy. He's not fond of Hunter (Maximillian Wallace McConnor) who he sees as a reckless rule breaker. Their rivalry is well known among the field agents and, depending on who you talk to, is seen as either a source of amusement or annoyance. Despite Bullet's best efforts, he usually comes in second to Hunter. Bullet is the chief of Sassy (Sissy Simmons).
Did you know...?
While Bullet's code name is partially from his abrasive attitude, the main basis is his speed. When excited, angry, determined or just plain frightened, this mouse really is "faster than a speeding bullet."
While assistants, Bullet challenged Hunter to a dare that left Bullet in trouble and Hunter doing a year's stint in Brumborg. The two still hold a grudge over "the incident".

A short fellow, Nero is not fond of physical confrontations, preferring instead to think his way out of a crisis. Nero was trained by Agent Hunter (Max McConnor). He's the husband of Ellen Peterson and the father of Rodney Norbert Peterson.

Nero's code name is from a comment he made the first time he and Hunter met, "if you're a government agent then I'm Emperor Nero."
Nero loves practical jokes, including making desert that includes grapefruit and no sugar.
Nero's preferred weapon is his 'bag of tricks' which includes such things as fairy dust (ground seeds, silver and iron powder, dirt and bits of dried berries), silver coins, and small vials of holy water.
Nero was born and grew up in Liverpool.
Despite being an atheist, Nero always wears a gold cross given to him by Ellen soon before their son was born.

Spooky was the founder of RCSI as well as its first commander. It was through Spooky's actions that the influx of magic during the 1940's was recognized as a real event, and not an imaginary bi-product of the stress of the war. Spooky was also responsible for securing financial support from the Crown. He was rumored to have had more than a passing interest in Princess Moraine.

Despite being missing since 1948, letters signed "Spooky" still show up on occasion. While code names are occasionally reused, names of agents missing in action or who have died in the line of duty are not. There has only been one Spooky in RCSI's history.

He still gets frazzled in certain situations, despite being an ambassador for a number of years.

Lord James was the British ambassador to Brumborg while Hunter (Maximillian Wallace McConnor) was serving his year's stint there in the late 1990's. He's often amused by the fact that Hunter has yet to grow into his "overly large ears."

While a good agent he's an excitable, twitchy fellow who has a fear of gargoyles.

Despite how much they argue with each other, Twitter and Warbird (Michael Brendon Pyrenees) are still good friends to this day. Their friendship doesn't stop Warbird from giving him a hard time about the gargoyle, though.

Lion's career with RCSI started off with a stint in the Archive Department. It wasn't until his return from a four year period in Astoria in the 1970's that he applied for a transfer to Field. After his transfer, Lion quickly gained a reputation as an aggressive fighter. He trained six agents including Agent Predator (Davis Wright). Unfortunately, one of those agents went rogue, leading to his death in 1992. Lion is the youngest of four sons. His father is Agent Warbird (Michael Brendon Pyrenees). He in turn is the father of Assistant Gypsy (Rubella Jane Pyrenees) and civilian Elizabeth Mae Barker.

Lion was the only one of Warbird's sons to enter RCSI. Two others went into the military and one into the police force.
Lion spent four years enslaved by Lord Cedric al'Kellis al'Gera of Astoria. The scar on Lion's muzzle is from this time.
Lord Cedric always refers to Lion as "Spot".
Lion preferred to use a sword over a gun when fighting. He tended to hold his collar in his left hand, using it as a mini shield against magic and stray sword blows. When all else failed, it made a good weapon to club an enemy over the head with.

Commander Boothroyd, known by many in the agency as simply CB, is a former field agent who's held the position of commander for a number of years now. Boothroyd walks with a limp due to a previous field related injury to his left leg. Rumor has it the injury would have been much worse if not for the intervention of Agent Lion (Joshua Lewis Pyrenees). While getting on in years, he is not interested in retiring any time soon and treats any suggestions of slowing down with derision. Boothroyd is an old friend of Queen Moraine and is one of the few members of RCSI who is willing to argue policies with her. He's also one of the few who can get away with it. With this gruff old man, his concerned for the welfare of his country, the agency and his agents always comes before that of himself.
Did you know...?
Boothroyd was an impressive agent during his time in the field. It's been said by many in RCSI that he was large, formidable and unstoppable. After accepting the position of Commander, Boothroyd's code name was marked as classified.
Boothroyd's limp is from an injury that occurred during the werewolf outbreak of the early 1980's.

Hunter is a short, quiet fellow who's more dangerous than he looks. While trained in marksmanship his preferred weapon is the sword, with which he is adept. Hunter had a rocky start in the agency due to his rather insubordinate attitude; while willing and enthusiastic about his job, Hunter has a tendency to question orders and subvert the system. After a rather embarrassing run in with Queen Moraine during his assistant-ship, he was shipped off to Brumborg for a year's worth of training under that nation's ruler, Lord Julius. While less insubordinate after his stint in Brumborg, Hunter still questions and acts on his own motives. He's just learned to keep his thoughts, for the most part, to himself. The young prince, Matthew Mousira, seems to have latched onto Hunter as a surrogate older brother, much to Hunter's embarrassment. Hunter rarely talks about his family, preferring to change the subject if possible. What is known by others in the agency is that he and his father do not get along and that his family is believed to be well to do. Hunter was trained by Agent Predator (Davis Wright). He is the chief of Gypsy (Rubella Jane Pyrenees).

Hunter has one small white patch on his body. It resembles a heart and is on the left side of his rump.
Hunter's reckless heroic impulse has caused him many injuries including a dislocated right shoulder. He's also prone to seasickness and has a deep fear of needles.
Hunter is very rough on his equipment and has gone through numerous swords and a few collars during his time in RCSI. Each time he breaks a sword, Hunter adds whatever cash is in his pocket to a glass jar he keeps in the kitchen.
Hunter keeps a small dagger tucked away in a boot in case of emergencies.
When speaking of his dad (Brigard Garvey McConnor), Hunter always refers to him as "father". When speaking to him, he calls Brigard "sir". Hunter never uses terms of endearment such as dad, poppa or da.

Warbird was one of the original core group of agents in the 1940's. He was formerly RAF until he was grounded for destroying too many planes. While he brought down many of the Luftwaffe, he tended to fly his own planes into the ground, either through excessive damage or just refusing to abandon a fight even if his fuel tank was running dry. After being grounded, he was transfered to MI-5. Warbird originally disregarded Spooky (Jacob Roderick) and the budding agency as a joke, until he had a chance encounter with the ghost of Jack the Ripper. The meeting making a believer out of him, he promptly asked to join RCSI's ranks. Warbird lead the first diplomatic mission to Brumborg. He is one of five children and is the father of Agent Lion (Joshua Lewis Pyrenees) and the grandfather of Assistant Gypsy (Rubella Jane Pyrenees).

Warbird is still fascinated by flight and collects remote control model planes, much to his wife's annoyance.

Moraine is the current Queen of Britain and the funder of RCSI. While technically the head of RCSI, in reality this is impractical due to her numerous other duties. As a result, she leaves the majority of the control over the agency to the Commander. Still, she takes a special interest in the agency and keeps involved in all its affairs. She is also the one responsible for appointing people to the positions of Commander, Head of Archives and Royal Guardian. It is not unusual to see Her Majesty about in the agency's halls or to hear her being a little less formal around the members of RCSI, who she sees as "my people". While having little sway over the day-to-day running of the country, she is seen as the complete ruler of the magical realm of the United Kingdom, many members of which do not recognize Parliament as a legitimate leader. Her Majesty is reputed to be warm towards many world leaders, though she has been heard on occasion to refer to the Astorian queen, Raewyn al'Melis al'Gera, as "that bloody, blinkered bint!"

Moraine's closest friend is her current guardian, Ash (Olivia Wood).
There's a hallway in RCSI where the walls are hung with little plaques, one for every agent who has passed on or is missing. Moraine makes a point to visit this hallway regularly.

She went through three agents before being assigned to Hunter - two of which she hospitalized, one to the point where, even once recovered, his lasting limp left him regulated permanently to desk duty. This earned her a reputation as a violent person to be avoided. In truth, Gypsy is a fiercely independent woman with a boisterous sense of humor and a past she prefers to keep hidden. A determined fighter, she's interested in following in the footprints of both her grandfather, Agent Warbird (Michael Brendon Pyrenees), and her father, Agent Lion (Joshua Lewis Pyrenees).

Gypsy has a unique way of playing chess. Whenever she finds herself stuck in a corner, she calls in the "swat team".
Gypsy is a recovering alcoholic. While she does her best to avoid drinking, she keeps a listing of local AA meetings just in case. Her alcoholism is something she wants to keep hidden from Hunter.
Gypsy spent her teen years in the United States. As a result, her accent is not as pronounced as it once was. She also uses American slang on occasion. When stressed, her accent becomes more noticeable.
Gypsy has a history with gangs, both in Britain and the United States.
She owns a Honda Hornet motorcycle.
Gypsy started sketching reguarly soon after starting her assistant-ship as part of her anger management sessions with Dr. Vincent Najir. She's since become a decent landscape artist.

When he was a kid, Smiley wanted to be a rock musician.
Smiley loves animals, to the point of wanting to adopt any stray that comes along. Luckily for his bank account, Todd has more sense and can usually convince Smiley to find the animal another home.
Though Smiley passed the Field Agent Entrance Exam with flying colors, he decided he didn't want to be an agent and prefers to work in the Staff department with Todd. He's never told Todd about passing the exam.
